About our products

Where are your products made?

We are a small business, all our products are made in small batches in London, UK.

Do you only sell bath bombs?

No! We started selling bath bombs only and have since expanded to sell bath dusts, shower steamers, craft kits and bathtime playsets, and home / bathroom accessories too.

Where do you source your ingredients from?

We use natural ingredients sourced from animal testing and cruelty free suppliers. We strive to source ingredients produced in the UK to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.

What ingredients do you use?

The main ingredients used in our bath bombs are:

Bicarbonate of soda
Citric acid
Corn starch
to help bind the ingredients and help strengthen the bath bombs to prevent breakage
Polysorbate 80, an emulsifier that prevents colours and oils from staining your tub
Carrier oils and butters - we use a wide variety such as Shea oil, aloe vera butter, cocoa butter, apricot butter and more
Essential oils and fragrance oils
Natural micas
that are non-toxic, vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and ethically sourced.

What sets your products apart from other bath bomb makers?

We believe our products are truly one of a kind! They are:

Natural and skin-friendly - we use natural ingredients that are safe for all skin types

Made in small batches - we make them ourselves in very small batches in London, each one is made and hand painted individually

Made with a variety of different essential oils and butters - open the majority of bath bomb company websites, have a look at the ingredients list and you'll see that the vast majority of products will use the same carrier oil for all of their products. We have crafted each of our bath bomb formulations individually and feature all of the below across our product range,

Carrier oils: Shea oil, marshmallow root oil, raspberry seed oil, calendula oil, coconut oil.

Butters: Shea butter, cocoa butter, kokum butter, aloe vera butter, apricot butter, mango butter.

Other ingredients: activated charcoal, green tea leaf extract, banana powder, honey powder, goat's milk powder.

What is the shelf-life of your products?

The majority of our products have a 6-9 month 'from opening' shelf-life - this means that from the date you unpackage them, they are best used within this timeframe.

Please ensure they are stored in a cool, dry area and for our bath dusts and bath bomb rocks, that jars are closed well after opening.

Do you offer custom and bespoke ordering?

How are your products approved for sale?

We have a Consumer Product Safety Report (CPSR) issued for each product from a chartered UK chemist that has performed a detailed assessment on each of our product formulations. This legally assures our products for sale in the UK, and our products have been registered on the UK Cosmetics Portal. We also hold product and public liability insurance.

Using our products

Are your products safe to use?

All of our products have been safety assessed and certified as safe for all skin types - we have a Consumer Product Safety Report (CPSR) issued for each product from a chartered UK chemist.

Can your products be used if I / my child has sensitive skin or allergies?

Our products have been certified as safe for all skin types. The nourishing butters and ingredients we use are great for sensitive skin - I started this company because I couldn't find fun, colourful bath bombs that didn't irritate my son's sensitive, eczema-prone skin. I also suffered from severe eczema as a child, which is why I am so passionate about the products I make. You can read more about our story here.

We also avoid using oils such as Peach Kernel oil or Apricot Kernel oil as this can sometimes cause allergic reactions for those suffering from nut allergies.

From what age can your products be used?

Our products have been certified for use from 3 years up - this is also because younger children may try drinking the bath water (I know this from experience with my 1 year old)! If you did want to use any of our products with younger children, please ensure they are not allergic to any of the ingredients and keep a watchful eye.

How do I use your products?

Bath bombs: fill the tub with water, then gently lower the bath bomb in. Watch as the bath bomb fizzes away and colours your bath water!

Bath dusts and bath bomb rocks: simply pour into the water, you can use as little or as much as you like. Close the jar lid tightly if not using all in one go.

Shower steamers and shower dust: place at the bottom of the shower, away from the drain and the direct stream of water. The steam and hot water will disperse the essential oils into the air, and fill your shower with the wonderful fragrance.

Can your products be used for messy play / sensory play?

Yes! We have products in a large range of colours and themes, perfect for whatever messy or sensory play theme you are looking to create. Not only that, you can feel safe knowing that they will not only not harm your child's skin, they will nourish and moisturise it too!

We also have a number of craft kits and bathtime playsets we have developed, so have a look at these too.

Will your products stain my bath / shower?

No! We use polysorbate 80 in all of our products - this ensures colours and oils don't rise to the surface of the water and risk staining your tub / shower. We also use non-staining colours.

If there is any colour residue on your bath after using our bath bombs and bath dusts, simply wipe with a clean sponge with a little soap if needed, it should come away easily.
